Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Specialist Concrete Occupations – In-Situ Flooring – Concrete Finisher is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. Learners are required to demonstrate their skills, knowledge, and experience in concrete floor finishing. This qualification is suitable for concrete floor finishes.

This NVQ provides formal recognition of concrete floor finishing.

Learning Connect Construction offer a nationwide NVQ service, made possible using our on-line NVQ portfolio Learning Assistant. Your NVQ will be assessed using the product of your work e.g. contract documents. Your knowledge will be assessed using professional discussion or written reflective account.

Entry requirement

The potential learner must be able to demonstrate that they can meet the skills, knowledge and experience requirements of the NVQ before enrolment.

Courses length

6-8 weeks.
Dependent on how quickly the learner can gather the relevant evidence.

Assessment

The learner will be assessed in their workplace in a variety of ways, such as evidence generated from the workplace.

The qualification includes a selection of mandatory units. No matter which pathway the learner chooses; they must also gain the minimum amount of credit from the selection of optional units.
